B cells are a type of white blood cell (called a b-lymphocyte) that play a large role in our immune system and its principal functions is to make antibodies and attack antigens (any substance capable of triggering an immune response).
B cells that produce antibodies. B cells develop from stem cells in the bone marrow. B cells are derived from bone marrow and develop into plasma cells which are the source of our body’s antibodies.
